Our newest machines are our two state of the art Mazak laser profiling machines. These have been chosen for their energy credentials with both resulting in up to 50% reduction in energy consumption compared to our previous lasers.

Both of these stations come with automatic loading giving us lights out capability.  Together they are able to process 51 tonnes of material unaided.  This lights out capability gives us the ability to run our machines 24/7. These state-of-the-art machines can process 0.6 to 25 millimetre plate with unparalleled precision. They can take a maximum sheet size of 3050 x 1525mm.  They can also cut various materials including Aluminium, Stainless steel, Mild steel, Galvanised, Zintec, Brass and Copper.  The accuracy of these lasers is up to 0.03mm. With laser marking services also available.

Quite a large part of our machine shop is occupied by this state-of-the-art Finn Power E5 LST Punch machine that takes punching sheet metal to a much higher level of efficiency. It is Electro servo driven and runs on 1/10^th of the energy of our previous punch.  It is fed by its own robotic arm that picks up the sheets and delivers them to the bed where components of various sizes are punched out. The individual components are then picked up and stacked separately on a sorting table and the waste is automatically evacuated. The robotics save on the labour required by conventional machinery, which allows us to offer more competitive pricing.

This machine also has lights out capability and can process up to 12 tonnes unaided giving us 24/7 operational ability.  This machine can punch 0.6 to 3 millimetre plate and take a maximum sheet size of 2500 x 1250mm.
